DANIEL SKOLZ
Following a life of the mind as a PhD and academic in plant ecology, Daniel focuses now on engaging the natural world for its beauty rather than via data. Re-engaging with his artistic imperative has led to a body of work in paint and tattoo that celebrates the diversity of plant forms. He specializes in the style of vintage botanical illustrations, a full-color painterly approach, and creating harmony among sentimental assortments.

Brandon loves the lively beat of the human experience. He acts, reads, draws, and travels the world, collecting bits of us to translate into art. The culmination of his interests combines in the craft of tattooing, where he helps people express the truth of themselves. Brandon specializes in minimalist black and gray tattooing, refining enormous important stories down to striking, often mysterious graphics, thus inviting viewers to a conversation.

When Sarah is not studying or practicing art techniques, she enjoys caring for Voluta's massive plant collection, traveling, and doing all she can to live a meaningful life. Jessa is one of life's rare, actual-born artists. Her command of visual media is rivaled only by her ability to teach what she knows and to cook you a meal you'll never forget. While gently transitioning to feral shamanic desert cat lady, she paints glorious murals and tattoos at her private studio in Phoenix. Jessa will only tattoo otherwhere at Voluta, where she has been a guest artist for a decade.
